5 on Friday [03.14}

Happy Friday!

*one*
I am so DONE with Blogger! Nine times out of ten my post messes up and the pictures are deleted (which is what happened with the adorable announcement I had planned!). Argh, so frustrating! Any suggestions fellow bloggers??

*two*
So, our house is at the end of a street and whenever the wind gets crazy (like it has this past week) everything blows into our yard. Trash, newspapers, mail, balls, etc-you name it, it's probably ended up in our yard. The funniest part? Daisy found an old Cookout tray in the backyard and brought it to me at 4:30 this morning. There are few things funnier than an excited pup trying to get her mouth around a big ol' Cookout tray!

*three*
Speaking of weather, it has been craziness! Last Friday school was cancelled because of a horrible ice storm, by Monday it was in the 70's and the 80's on Tuesday, then back to the 30's yesterday and today. I can't keep up! I'm just ready for Spring and all the wonderful it brings!

*four*
I know this is old news now, but I still can't believe it. . . we're having a GIRL! I was a 110% convinced it was a boy. In fact, we had only considered boy names at that point and only talked about boy stuff. About 10 minutes into the ultrasound David decided to change his vote to girl and after much wiggling and moving around they discovered he was right. Craziness. Back to the drawing board with girl names!:-)

*five*
Yay NC State! They won their first game last night and move on to their second game tonight. Let's hope they can hold their own against Syracuse!

Friday Letters [09.13]

Happy Friday one and all!

Dear Blogger, I don't know what your deal is but can you nip it in the bud? It's a smidge frustrating when I schedule a post that yo just decide not to publish. Or when I publish a post the you don't show. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Dear Jason Aldean, Thank you for a rockin' show last night. It was a fabulous way to end our summer concert series. And the fact that you surprised us with Kelly Clarkson?? Major bonus points there, sir.

Dear Triplets, Y'all are FINALLY 21-WAHOOOOOO! All the Wardlets have officially reached this milestone. Drink up and enjoy your day!

Trouble from the get-go. Can you figure out who's who?

Dear David, Six.freaking.years. Holy canoli. Being married three seemed like a big deal, but the fact that we're been together six is mind blowing. Here's to many, many more!

Our first picture together many moons ago

Dear Farmer's Almanac, So I heard you're spreading this rumor about a "very cold winter". I'm going to have to ask you stop right where you are. No body likes a liar.

Ladies I Love!

Happy Tuesday one and all! Yesterday, the oh so sweet Mrs. Robinson at My New Wife Life did a spotlight post on her "bosom buddies". Instead of having sponsors she has bosom buddies! How precious is that? I am honored to fall into that category:-) Following her lead I am going to shine the spotlight on some of the women I really enjoy reading about. . .

First up is Mrs. Robinson!
My New Wife Life
She is a fabulous lady, and fellow follower of Christ, who I have been blessed enough to connect with! She is an awesome encourager who speaks truth like not many others. I so enjoy her stellar, realistic take on life. Stop on by and visit her and Mr. Robinson!

Next we have Ashley!

The Christian Wife Life

I first met Ashley in college when we were both pursuing careers as middle school teachers. She soon learned she was being called down a different path, but we were able to stay friends. She is one of the sweetest, most genuine people I have ever been fortunate enough to meet. Go say hello to her as she navigates life as a Christian wife!

Third we have Autumn!
Blog / Twitter

Mrs. in the Making

Autumn is the sweet voice of "Mrs." in the Making! Here this cancer-conqueror learns what it takes to really be a wife. She, too, is very real and the laughs often follow her stories. Be sure to check out her corner of the internet!

Next up we have Adrienne!
Blog / Twitter

La Vita E Bella

This sweet lady is full of passion for her community! Her blog often highlights some of her favorite things, including delicious food. I bet you can figure out why I enjoy her so much:-) Say hello and be prepared to get hungry.

Fifth we have Alison!
Blog / Twitter

This sweet girl is a fellow teacher, crafter, Follower, and newlywed! Wanna guess how we were able to connect? Haha. I really enjoy reading her stories about life on the other side of the US. Be sure to show her and her hubby some love!

Last but not least we have Melody!
Blog / Twitter
Sweet Like a Song

I connected with this sweet girl through my sister, who attended Appalachian State with Melody. I love her enthusiasm for life and enjoy reading about how she is figuring life out as a newly-graduated twenty-something!

Interested in swapping buttons?? Shoot me an email, I'd love to chat:-)

Friday's Letters-[06.29]

It's a fantastic edition of Friday's Letters with Adventures of Newlyweds!

Dear hubby, Thank you for being so wonderful. Seriously, you are pretty awesome opossum. The way you take care of me and look after me is amazing. I love how you make me laugh and remind me just to chillax sometimes. I am so proud of all your hard work and what you have accomplished in all the paths that you travel down. It has been an incredible two years and I cannot wait for all the more to come!

Dear foot, You have been quite the nuisance this week. Please continue not to hurt more than a dull ache. It would be really swell if you could hurry up and heal so I can get back to moving and shaking!

Dear Mandy, Thank you oh so very much for coming to help take care of me. I greatly appreciate you driving me on my errands and fetching things for me. I would have been in a terrible place without your help!

Dear readers, Thank you for all the love after my surgery! I am very grateful for your well-wishes and prayers!

Dear Daisy, You are so sweet to your momma. Thank you for being such a good pillow and snuggler. You are an awesome little spoon. Keep up the good work, princess.

Dear bloggers, Anyone interested in guest posting?? I'm still on the hunt for some writers to step in for me while I am at the beach in July!

Guest Post on The Blog Tap

Happy Tuesday one and all! I had a fabulous post all set to go yesterday, but it was deleted. Oh, the tragedies of my life as the merry mrs. mobley ;-) Today I am chatting over at The Blog Tap about some things to consider if you're new to blogging. For instance, is a name really all that important? What about a host? Does it really matter what you say? All things to consider, so stop on by and see me!
