Happy Friday, folks!

Photobucket

Dear Seattle, Can I please come back?? 36 hours just isn't long enough!

Dear Gates Foundation, I cannot thank you enough for the incredible experience. I would also like to take a moment to speak for all the teachers there when I say thank you for treating us like professionals. Thank you for advocating for us!

Dear readers, We're heading to Asheville for the weekend and are looking for suggestions for things to do, places to see, and food to eat! Whatcha got for us??

Dear all the things I have to do, Go away. Just shoo. Shoo!

Friday's Letters [03.15]

Happy Friday, folks!!

Photobucket

Dear 5K, You scare me. You are the first race I have participated in since last year. My goal last year was to run the entire thing, and my goal this year is much the same. So much has happened since that last race. I will be pleased if I can run you without stopping.

Dear Spring, Keep that beautiful weather coming! The fact that I was out in shorts and a T-shirt on Tuesday warms my heart.

Dear readers, Thank you for your continued support with everything going on in our lives. We really appreciate the prayers for us and for my sweet sister, Mandy. We truly believe in the power of prayer and know that God's hand is in all of it.

Dear community group, Thank you for creating a safe place to share. Your support and love continue to overwhelm me (in a good way). Thank you.

Dear Starbucks man, Thank you for the free drink. I'm sorry the coupon code did not work (who knew Harris Teeter Starbucks stores had different registers?!), but I really appreciate your generosity. I hope your day gets better!

Happy Friday, folks! Today I am linking up with Adventures of Newlyweds for another edition of Fridy'as Letters.

Dear Peanut, I am SO excited to find out if you are a he or a she next week! Then I will finally have an excuse to start buying you precious little things:-)

Dear conference week, You about killed me this year. I don't know if it was all the bookings or the fact that I am preggers and exhausted, but I am pooped. I will definitely be getting a good night's sleep tonight when it is all over!

Dear readers, Any avid readers out there with suggestions?? I am looking for a few good books to dive into over Thanksgiving Break and am welcome to any and all suggestions.

Dear movie theaters, Please do not sell out of Twilight tickets. I would really enjoy getting to see the final installment of the Bella-Edward-Jacob drama ASAP. Want to save a couple for the Mobleys?

Dear Duck Dynasty, Thank you for the ongoing laughs and great things that come from your show. I am officially hooked and will be catching up as much as possible over break next week. Keep up with the crazy!

Friday's Letters [09.28]

Happy Friday!

Dear spiders, What is going on?! It seems like every time I open a door to our house you sneak in. I know you're good for killing other bugs, but I have a hard time remembering hat when I see you scurrying across our kitchen floor. How about y'all just vamoosh?

Dear slow drivers on one-lane roads, I totally get and respect the speed limit. It's there for a reason. Meaning you should be going at least that speed! It makes for a super frustrating drive to work when I get stuck behind you and cannot pass you.

Dear readers, Have you heard of the Matched series by Ally Condie? I started yesterday and was hooked from page one! There are only two books in the series so far, but the third one is coming out in November-score! It's a cross between The Giver books and The Hunger Games. Don't expect to get much done once you start reading. . .

Dear school techie people, Whose brilliant idea was it to schedule a maintenance over the weekend?? Don't y'all know that's when teachers actually have time to catch up on work?! I SUPER appreciate all the awesome y'all do for us, but that is really putting a damper on my weekend to-do list.

Dear iPhone 5 owners, What do ya think? Is it worth the plunge? I'm due for an upgrade, but after all the stuff I heard last weekend about the maps and stuff I want to check to see if it's worth it.

Friday's Letters [08.31]

Happy Friday, folks!

Photobucket

Dear first week of school, You have been exhausting, but fulfilling. I am so excited to see what this school year and the students will bring!

Dear NC State, Tonight is the night. The big game all of us fans have been waiting eight months for. Please do not disappoint! The hubby and I are sad to miss seeing the game live, but there is no way we would make it to Atlanta in time for kick-off. We'll be cheering y'all on from the comfort of our couch. GO PACK!

Dear readers, I apologize for my horrible attention to this blog this past week. Things have been absolutely cray-cray in the Mobley house. I promise to do a much better job starting now! Oh, and be on the lookout for a giveaway coming soon:-)

Dear family and friends, Thank you so much for all the birthday love! It's hard to stop smiling when every time I turn around someone else is wishing me a happy birthday. Talked about being blessed! Thank you again for all the love.

Dear fall, Okay, I'm ready for you now. I fought long and hard to keep summer around but with the start of school I realized it was a lost cause. Bring on the cooler temps and pumpkin-flavored everything!

Friday's Letters [08.24]

Happy Friday, folks!

Dear First Day, You are a mere 72 hours away-eek! Please be kind to me and my out-of-it body. It's going to take some time for me to get back in the swing of things and I would really appreciate it if you could ease that transition.

Dear Real Marriage, I am so grateful for the eye-opening conversations you are prompting within our marriage. Even though we've only been married two years, it is still crazy to see how much we've grown. Thank you for continuing to challenge us for growth.

Dear Daisy, My deepest apologies for the jolt to your spoiled schedule. I know hanging out in your two bedroom condo (aka, the crate) is not the most exciting thing in the world, but if you can figure out a way not to destroy every pillow we own maybe you can stay out. Just think, all this extra time to sleep allows for lots more stellar puppy dreams!

Dear readers, Thank you so much for your support of yesterday's post. It was not easy to write, but the overwhelming love and kindness you showed me made it worth it:-)

Friday's Letters [08.10]

It's a fantastical Friday to link up with Adventures of Newlyweds!

Dear coffee, What would I do without you? You are the boost that gets me going in the morning, and the little oompf I need again by afternoon. If it were not for your awesome sauceness I would probably only make sense 5% of the time. Thanks for all that you do and keep on rocking it.

Dear house fixer upper people, I totally get that y'all have a long list of places to visit and people to please, but a four hour window? Really? With the few precious days I have left before school kicks back into gear there are 34229843 things on my to-do list, all of which seem to need to happen away from the house. What are the chances y'all could coordinate and come on the same day? Or, even better, actually come at a reasonable time?

Dear Cori H., Congrats, you are the winner of a copy of Mission Possible! Be on the lookout for an email with shipping details:-)

Dear readers, Over a hundred followers?! Wow. I am honored that y'all care enough about my incessant rambling to want to read more. I am touched. Be on the lookout for another giveaway to recognize all of your awesomeness in the coming weeks!

Dear Davido, Thank you for not only understanding, but for also getting my crazy. I know I am not always the easiest person to live with, what with my need to always have ten projects going at once and my total inability to ever sit still. I really appreciate you and your way of reminding me to chillax.

Dear leopard shoes, How did I possibly forget your existence? You are super cute and comfy, a rarity in shoes. I apologize for my negligence. Get ready to rock this world.

Friday's Letters [08.03]

Happy Friday, folks! It's a superb day to link up with Adventures of Newlyweds.

Dear Olympic Athletes, Thank you for providing me with around-the-clock entertainment this past week, and coming week. Y'all are really rocking it, but China is rocking it a bit more. Any chance you could take them out? Sorry the competitive spirit in me just can't fathom losing. . .

Dear readers, Have you signed up for my giveaway yet??

Dear kidneys, What did I ever do to you?? It seems like as soon as I get a clean bill of health (this past Monday) you start acting up again (Wednesday). ARGH. Please, please, please start being awesome again and keep filtering the protein correctly. Please?

Dear tax-free weekend, My, oh, my you sure are tempting. Too bad I am WAY over my "fun money" budget.

Friday's Letters [07.06]

Happy Friday, folks! It's another stellar day with Adventures of Newlyweds!

Dear readers/voters, Thank you for making this happen!

Dear Veterans/Servicemen, Thank you very much for your amazing service to our country. If it were not for your continued sacrifices I would not be where I am right now, on this computer with a plate of food next to me. Too often we use that "out of sight, out of mind" mentality when it comes to you. I am so grateful for all you do for us currently and all that you have done for us in the past.

Dear Mother Nature, Record highs? Really?? I want you to know that this SO not cute and is not helping you make any friends.

Dear Daisy, It has officially been two years since we adopted you from that wretched backyard where you were rolling in your own poo (true story, folks). You are our best Craigslist conquest to date. In honor of your adoption day we got you doggy fro-yo. You were quite entertaining as we watched you devour it. Thanks for being such a wonderful princess pup!

Dear foot, You continue to make life inconvenient. I would really appreciate it if you would hurry up and heal so I can enjoy life again. K, thanks.

Happy Friday, folks!
