It was another wonderful weekend here at the Mobley house filled with beautiful weather, yummy food, and lots of time to rest. Friday evening my sister, Mandy, and her boyfriend, Tyler, joined us with her pup, Shanti. Shanti started off as my mom's dog, but was officially readopted by Mandy and Abby (her twin) over Christmas break. Since then Shanti has been making her home in Boone. She is FULL of energy, which is great for us because that means she wears Daisy out! Friday evening was filled with lots of laughter as we watched Shanti and Daisy play.

Saturday morning began with our newest obsession-waffles. We've been eating them like they're going out of style recently! I don't hate it. . . After we lolled about for a bit we all headed out to run some errands. We hit up the mall first where the girls did some shopping and the boys killed time playing Skeeball at Dave & Buster's. While we were shopping I found this precious little onesie for $3! I couldn't pass it up!
After the mall and grocery we decided it was nap time, well, at least Nugget and I decided it was nap time! We headed back to the house to rest and relax before supper. Whenever any one comes to visit us we try to take them to NoDa for supper. There are so many awesome restaurants there, it's hard to decide where to eat! We ended up at the chowing down on homemade chips and pizza at Revolution Ale House. It did not disappoint! We knew we couldn't go to NoDa and not go to Amelie's so we headed over there to get some sweet treats. The line was outrageous (no surprise there!) so the boys wandered over to Heist Brewery for a beer while we waited in line. They were able to walk there, drink a beer, and walk back in the time it took us to get through the line! It was well worth it, though:-) Before we headed home we also popped into NoDa Brewery for a growler of beer for the boys.
It was a fabulous weekend filled with lots of love and laughter! Can't wait til they come visit again:-)
