18 Weeks

How far along? 18 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss:  +12 pounds. I will weigh again today at the nephrologist. Good thing it's before the Thanksgiving pig out sessions;-)

Maternity clothes? I'm getting there. I almost wore some to work this week but the pants weren't long enough for the shoes I wanted to wear. It's not that I necessarily need them, but they are much more comfy than my regular clothes!

Stretch marks? I thought I saw some and freaked. Then I realized it was the lighting. Whew! Needless to say I'll be doubly applying the cocoa butter now.

Sleep: I used to be a total side sleeper, but for some reason I've been doing better on my back recently. Unfortunately my growing girth means I need to stick to my side. We'll see how that affects my sleep. . .

Best moment this week: Actually having people tell me I look pregnant!

Miss Anything? Nothing stands out right now.

Movement: I'm starting to feel some flutters!

Food cravings: Mexican seems to be the craving of the second trimester while Japanese took over the first trimester. This baby is just making it's way around the world;-)

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing in particular. I'm feeling a lot better than I was earlier!

Have you started to show yet: Kind of. It depends on what I wear.

Gender: We find out on Wednesday!!!

Labor Signs:  Nope.

Belly Button in or out? Definitely in.

Wedding rings on or off?  On.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy most of the time with some mood swings in between.

Size of Baby: Peanut is the size of a sweet potato according to thebump.com. How appropriate considering Thanksgiving is this week!

Looking forward to: Finding out the gender and sharing it with all our family over the Thanksgiving holidays.
