Deck The Halls

One of the most spectacular parts of the Christmas season is the decorating. Who am I kidding, all of the Christmas season is spectacular! I have been promising for a few posts that I would share some pictures of decorations around casa de Mobley. We are fortunate enough to have family members who have passed on many of their favorite Christmas pieces to us. So, even though we are still young and only celebrating our second Christmas together, we have accumulated quite the collection!

These two pieces were crafted by women at David's great-grandmother's nursing home!

Our blurry tree-stands 9 feet tall and is almost full of ornaments already!

Nativity Scene. The creche came from my great-grandmother and is something I remember playing with as a little girl visiting her.

The wreath I made with The Momma last Christmas. I know it's nothing fancy, but I love this little thang!

David's collection of nutcrackers from when he was a wee one!

The FABULOUS wreath David's aunt made for us! I absolutely adore this and all its fun frilliness!

Our home.
(The outside is a work in progress!)

How are you decorating in honor of the season?

  1. Your house looks so pretty! I love the lights in progress! The yarn wreath is so cute and seems like it would be such a fun craft project to do with your mom! I also love the Nutcracker collection! I would love to start collecting them! I see the Nutcracker every year and have collected a few starting back when I was a kid.. maybe when I have kids of my own I will make it a real collection! Cute post!
