Belated Birthday Bash

As I mentioned yesterday, we were fortunate enough to have some of our local family over to celebrate David entering his 24th year of life. Both sides of our family are absolutely incredible in countless ways, and the fact that everyone gets along so wonderfully is just the icing on the cake. Our future children are going to be so blessed by these amazing people and all the love they offer our family!

While I spent the day preparing for everyone's arrival inside of the house, David and my dad were preparing outside with a brand-new work bench!

Everyone starting arriving around four to visit before supper. Have I mentioned how awesome our families are?? Everyone brought something yummy to share which made waiting for supper very difficult! On the menu? Baked Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli & rice cheese casserole, salad, roll, and canberry! We finished the evening with birthday presents and a delicious Wacky Cake, if I do say so myself:-) Recipe to come on the Wacky Cake!
